Sarah Derylo

Sarah Derylo ’22, graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S.Ed. in Middle School Math and Science Education. Before law school, Sarah taught middle school math at a charter school in Peoria. During her time at Chicago-Kent, Sarah has volunteered at the Self-Help Web Center at the Daley Center and taken part in the Center for Open Government Clinic with Krislov Law.
Since June 2020, Sarah has been a law clerk for health-related prosecutions at the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, prosecuting nurses found to be in violation of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act. She has a passion for administrative law and is excited to see how technological innovation can improve efficiency and turnaround times for government agencies.
