Class of 2018
Cody was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He graduated from Carthage College where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Political Science and Criminal Justice. While at Carthage, he was a member of the golf team and co-captain of his mock trial team. In his free time, Cody enjoys going to the gym, golfing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Cody is fascinated by technology and how it is shaping the future. He is interested in how legal innovation and technology are creating and refining processes that deliver superior services and experiences to clients. Specifically, Cody is interested in how blockchain technology can help build more efficient systems, decrease cost, and help increase access to legal and financial services. Cody’s passion for technology and desire to learn new things has been cultivated through his involvement with The Law Lab as a Certificate student. Cody cites Legal Analytics, Justice + Technology Practicum, Legal Project Management + Process Improvement, and Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and Law as important classes that have helped shape his career plans.
After graduation, Cody will begin his career as a Legal Product Associate at Fulcrum GT. Cody is excited to continue building on the skills he has gained through his involvement with The Law Lab. At Fulcrum GT, Cody will begin working in the Fulcrum Labs program where he aims to establish and apply legal process improvement techniques, tools, and standards to technology projects across multiple teams.
